Ground floor roof tiling and electrical cabling complete

10/07/2012
Got a call from our SS today, roof tiling on the garage and rumpus should be complete now and the electrical cabling can start. By late next week council inspection of the frame should commence. We will also try to organise our own independent inspector as well.

Garage roof tiling complete

Rumpus and grand outdoor room tiling complete

Main board installed

Back of the main board. The large orange tube is power from the street, and the smaller orange tube runs to the sub board under the stairs. We paid extra to have a sub board installed there so this should be more convenient for access.

Location of the sub board and where all the cat6 cables run under the stairs

Butler's pantry

Kitchen

Kitchen exhaust duct, we opted for an undermount rangehood hopefully it will have enough grunt to do the job

Speaker cables for post handover installation in Kitchen

Speaker cable runs will all terminate to the Rumpus room.

Speaker cable at the back of the rumpus

Other speaker cable at the back of the rumpus

We also have two speaker cables run into the grand outdoor room

Aircon ducting in the first floor main bedroom

Bathroom toilet exhaust fan duct leading out to the eaves

Grill for the toilet exhaust fan

Grill for the powder room exhaust fan

Grill for the kitchen exhaust fan. Not sure what that little pipe that is sticking out on the left is used for? Anyone out there have any ideas? My guess it's an overflow pipe for the bathtub.

  1. Yes. It could be a pipe for the sewer system inside your house (drains from the bathroom or kitchen). Anyway, make sure that you keep your exhaust fan and the grill in good and clean condition. It would help in having a more effective ventilation.
