Study and the window we should have changed as it's too low for our liking. Doesn't matter how many hours you spend looking over a plan, there are always things you will miss.

Bedroom 1 balcony double doors

Bedroom 1 alcove

Bedroom 1 robe (4.6m wide) on the right and the alcove on the left

 Bedroom 5 fixed windows

Bedroom 5 privacy window

Bedroom 5 robe (2.4m wide)

 Bedroom 4 privacy windows

Bedroom 4 robe (2.5m wide), in the original plan there is a void on the right, we asked it to be deleted so we got more rob space, so it's the widest robe of all bedrooms, excluding the main bedroom of course.

Bedroom 3 we added an awning window to overlook the backyard. The Grand outdoor roof obscures a bit of the view, but it's still good to be able to see what's happening in the back yard.

Bedroom 3 privacy window

Bedroom 3 robe (1.7m wide) is smaller than bedroom 4 and 5.

 Bedroom 2 privacy window

Bedroom 2 robe (1.7m wide)

  1. Hi there! Found your blog the other night have slowly worked my way though it. Your house seems to be coming along at a nice pace! Love all your internals, we would have loved to have square cornices on the bottom floor! I am a big fan of the Nolan and have changed the standard glendale (with M) to mirror it.
Its amazing how different M is between states, we were told we couldn't have Hebel on a double storey! And we didn't have to pay for coloured grout. Good luck with the rest of the build and keep the photos coming :)

    1. Hi,
Hebel was part of the Spoilt for Choice promotion so we took up that offer, it's a substantial upgrade as this includes the cost of rendering the entire house. Since we wanted the house rendered anyway it made logical sense to part with this money.

I must say the Glendale does look like a smaller version of the Nolan! While I like the Nolan floor plan very much, I really wished the Pheonix was around before we signed up. It makes better use of the first floor and you get 5 rooms by default and an upstairs sitting room. Not evident in the floor plan but you can extend the Kitchen/Dining room, which is shown in the display home here in Sydney.

I can tell you we've spent a fortune:
      1. upgrading options
      2. on internal variations
      3. in our electrical appointment
      4. tiling the wet areas
      5. kitchen upgrades

      Keep in touch.
